Five questions for Anita Gazdag

Which areas do you mainly work in?

I mainly work in payroll accounting. My key tasks include preparing wage and salary statements, maintaining all employee master data, administering payroll accounts and preparing accounting records for financial accounting. I am also responsible for communication with public authorities as well as attending to external tax and wage tax audits. In addition, my duties include digitalisation and process optimisation in the payroll department.

What problems do you solve for your clients?

I provide support and advice for both national and international payroll clients, helping them with all questions and problems that come up. Since laws, operands, deadlines and other interesting payroll topics are constantly changing, continuing education is essential for me. Clients are advised based on the knowledge that is acquired so that problems do not arise in the first place.

What has been your career path?

After studying business administration at FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management in Munich, I took an accredited continuing education course specialising in wage and payroll accounting at the Munich Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
To gain comprehensive, specialised knowledge in the payroll field, I took a continuing education course with the Munich Chamber of Tax Consultants, earning the title of Qualified Wage and Salary Assistant in 2023.

What motivates you in your everyday work?

I am motivated in particular by ongoing further development and working with a focus on solutions and results.
